Join us and experience the art of pottery!

Beginner/Intermediate Wheel class

This four-week course meets once a week and includes four additional open studio days, giving you plenty of time to practice and refine your skills.

Perfect for beginners or those with some experience, this class focuses on the fundamentals of wheel throwing, including centering, shaping, and trimming.

You'll also learn essential techniques for creating functional and decorative pottery pieces.

Cost: $195 (materials and firing included up to 20 pieces).

Monthly Class dates:

Tuesdays from 6-8 pm

Cariku Wheel Experience

Share a creative adventure with your friend or partner in our Cariku Wheel Experience! Perfect for a memorable date night, a fun outing with a friend, or simply exploring your artistic side together!

This two-hour session is designed for beginners who want to try their hand at pottery in a fun and relaxed environment.

With step-by-step guidance, you’ll learn the basics of wheel throwing and create your unique piece of pottery. No prior experience is needed—bring your curiosity and willingness to get a little messy!

Cost: $75 per person (minimum of 2 participants). Materials and firing are included for 2 pieces.

Hand Building private lesson

Experience the art of pottery with personalized attention in our  Hand Building Private Lesson! This two-hour session is tailored for beginners who want to learn the basics of hand-building at their own pace.

Receive step-by-step guidance on shaping forms, and creating your pottery piece. Whether new to handling clay or looking for a focused introduction, this private lesson offers a relaxed and supportive environment to explore creativity.

Cost: $100 per person (materials and firing included up to 2 pieces). 

Class dates: Mondays and Thursdays from 1 to 3 pm.

Hand-Building class

Pottery Class

This four-week course meets once a week and is perfect for anyone looking to explore pottery without the use of a wheel. It includes four additional open studio days!

Learn foundational techniques such as slab building, coiling, and pinch pottery to create unique and functional pieces. Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, this class allows you to experiment with shapes, textures, and designs while crafting pottery by hand.

Cost: $195 (materials and firing included up to 20 pieces).

Hand-building Sgraffito class

Explore the art of hand-building and surface design in our Hand-Building Sgraffito Class! This four-week course meets once a week and includes two additional open studio days!

In this session, you'll create a stunning piece using hand-building techniques and decorate it with the intricate and expressive sgraffito method.

Learn how to carve detailed designs into layers of underglaze to bring your artistic vision to life. This class is perfect for beginners and experienced artists who want to experiment with texture and pattern in their pottery.

Cost: $195 (materials and firing included up to 4 pieces).

Monthly Class dates:

Wednesdays from 1-3 pm

Open Studio program

Cariku Wheels

Designed for independent artists and pottery enthusiasts, this program offers monthly/Saturday/daily access to the Cariku Art Lab studio during designated hours.

Enjoy the freedom to work at your own pace, using our wheels, tools, and workspaces to bring your ideas to life. Whether refining your skills or completing ongoing projects, our studio provides a welcoming and inspiring environment for your artistry.

​

Cost:  $100 monthly per person (Firing and dipping glazes included up to 20 pieces)

Saturdays: $50 monthly per person. (Firing and dipping glazes included up to 10 pieces)

Daily: $25 per person (Firing and dipping glazes included up to 3 pieces)

​

Access hours: from 12 to 5 pm Mondays to Saturdays.
