Cariku Art Lab is a creative hub in the heart of Black Mountain, NC, dedicated to pottery, sculpture, and the transformative power of clay. More than just a studio, Cariku is a welcoming space where people of all ages and skill levels can learn, explore, and connect through hands-on making. We offer wheel-throwing and hand-building classes, glaze workshops, open studio memberships, and kiln rentals, as well as exhibitions and community gatherings that celebrate local craft.

Four-Week Wheel Throwing class
Six Students, Studio Clay, glaze, and firing included ( up to 20 pieces). The classes start the first week of every month.

Commercial glazes with Carolina ( Min 2)
Cost: $95 per student
This class will teach you how to use commercial glazes to bring your bisque pieces to life. You can bring your own bisque piece or choose one from the studio to work on. After glazing, your piece will be fired and ready to take home as your very own masterpiece. Studio bisque piece charge separate.
