Your Project, Your Creative Direction

Our instructors teach with an open and flexible approach. Each class may begin with a suggested project or technique, but students are welcome to change the form, function, surface, or design to reflect their own ideas. You will receive the instruction and support you need without being expected to create exactly the same piece as everyone else.

Cariku Art Lab offers a selection of basic sculpting and pottery tools for purchase at the studio for students who prefer to buy locally. We also have a limited number of shared tools available for use during class for students who may not yet have their own. Students are encouraged to bring personal tools, when possible, but lack of tools should never be a barrier to participating.
